Heavy traffic was reported on Highway 121 and I-35 in Fort Worth Tuesday morning after a person involved in a crash pulled over and jumped into the Trinity River, police said.

It’s not clear what motivated the driver to enter the water. The highway was closed for around two hours during the incident.

The police say one of the drivers jumped off the overpass into the Trinity River. They say they had to try to convince the driver out of the water. That driver finally came out of the water an hour later. Paramedics took the driver to the hospital for ...
