Bobby Allison died Saturday, November 10, 2024, at age 86 at his home in Mooresville, North Carolina. Mooresville is a peaceful neighborhood that butts up against Lake Norman, and Allison would often wake up and spend the day fishing off the dock in his back garden.

Allison was one of the last of the surviving group of superstars who arrived in the 1960s at Indy and in NASCAR.
