Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze has had enough to worry about within his team to pay too much attention what is being said outside the locker room.

A big part of the team’s struggles has been quarterback play. QB Payton Thorne was benched and reinserted as the starter and has now been dealing with a shoulder injury. The QB suffered the injury against Vanderbilt, but recently told reporters that he probably could have played last week if necessary.

At 5-4, the Warhawks become bowl-eligible with a win. Furthermore, a win at Jordan-Hare goes an infinite way towards recruiting for a school stuck in the middle of nowhere, gasping for air in the Sun Belt Conference.
