TYPHOON PEPITO UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the typhoon continues to intensify and more areas are put under wind signals. Based on a previous article, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released an update. Accordingly, Typhoon Ofel continues to weaken but Pepito continues to intensify.
More areas under Wind Signals No. 1 and 2 as Typhoon Pepito gains strength
Ofel was last located 205 kilometers west-northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, moving north-northwestward at 15 kph. The cyclone is also carrying maximum sustained winds of 100 kph and gusts of up to 125 kph.
