The Michelin Guide is known in the culinary world for its guides on exceptional restaurants, and is now awarding Michelin Key ratings to outstanding hotels throughout the U.S.

A Memphis hotel, along with six other Tennessee locations made Michelin's list of the best hotels in the United States.

Four Nashville area hotels received Michelin Keys in the Michelin Guide’s second ever installment in the United States. Michelin Guide ranks hotels by one, two and three keys, judged off of five categories: design, service, character, value and “a significant contribution to the guest experience.”

The company awarded 207 U.S. hotels one key, while 70 received two keys and 16 have three. The Guild House Hotel on Locust Street occupies a historic building that once served as the home of the New Century Guild,

The Michelin Guide has revealed its new Michelin Key list. Seven Arizona hotels made the list, but only one is a highly coveted Three Key hotel. Seven Arizona hotels have earned a coveted Michelin Key distinction — including one that stood out above its competition.
